VERNON LEE
He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Dee; and daughter Amy.
Vern was born on February 28, 1956, and grew up with his brother, Allan, in Winnipeg and seven sisters.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Marie; and also his brother Allan.
Vern and Dee had been married for 22 years at the time of his passing and she will miss his daily sarcastic zingers. Times spent playing crib and dice will be a memory cherished. Bandit, the family dog, will be glad to see Vern at the Rainbow Bridge. Shortly before his passing Vern was looking for Allan. We know he has found him.
The birth of his daughter Amy at 42 was the "moment of his life". He often told Dee that he couldn't believe how lucky he was to have Amy.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors at GA4 at Health Sciences Centre. The compassion and care will never be forgotten.
A service will be held on Thursday, March 5, at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
