It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our mother and grandmother at Park Manor Nursing Home on February 25, 2020.
Mom was born in Ukraine and came to Canada with her mother and brother Bill, to join her father.
She was predeceased by her husband Stephen; her parents, Anna and Andrew; and by her brother Bill, and sister-in-law Doris.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry and his wife Gisele; grandchildren, Kristopher and Ashley (Marc); Donald and his wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Stacey (Jon) and Jeremy (Trent); great-grandchildren, Ella, Sophie and Hayden, as well as many relatives, nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Ukraine, Buenos Aires and Argentina.
Mom's life was her family, her home and her strong faith. She was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, member of the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League, member of the church and millennium choir. Upon her retirement from Agriculture Canada, she devoted her time to Pastoral Care work.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day Street on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or Park Manor Personal Care Home, 301 Redonda Street, Winnipeg, MB R2C 1L7.
Arrangements are entrusted to Korban Funeral Chapel.

When I have gone remember,
I am with Jesus.
Then do not grieve,
because I have passed away.
And will you weep, because I did not stay.
It's only for a spell, we must be parted.
Not many years on earth to us are given,
And when my Saviour tells me
you are coming. I'll go with Him,
and welcome you to Heaven.
