JULIE JONUK
Julie was born in Allegra, MB on October 11, 1940, and spent her entire life in Transcona.
Julie was predeceased by her parents, Dan and Carole Guszowaty; and sister, Rose Boyd (Arnold). Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bob Jonuk; sons, Grant Jonuk, Greg Jonuk (Terri), and Jeff Jonuk; brothers and sisters, Michael Guszowaty (Irene), Linda Smith (Russell), Jim Guszowaty (Gina); grandchildren, Gabriel and Alexa Jonuk; and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Before raising her children, Julie worked at the TD bank on Regent and Bond, and reentered the workforce working at the Transcona Medical Clinic.
Julie enjoyed expressing her love though her culinary skills, and also enjoyed crafting, latch hooking, gardening, and travelling with her husband and family. Julie also spent several years in service to the community through the Transcona Jaycetts.
Special thanks to the staff and residents of the Park Manor Personal Care Home, who made Julie's last years as comfortable as possible.
Julie's wish was to be remembered without a memorial service, but with a Celebration of Life for family and friends at a later date.

I know this sounds crazy but I know Julie and Bob through my mother Margaret Bonneteau. Growing up I used to babysit for Julie and Bob for years and Julie and my mother were great friends and use to go to bingo every Sunday night at Oxford heights CC. I got married in 1982 and invited them both to my wedding that is the last time I seen them both. Last night, April 11, 2023 I had a dream and Julie and Bob were both in my dreams really really weird for me again haven’t seen them for like 40 years, but ever since my oldest child my son Bryan past in 2021 I dream of people from my past or they come to me in my dreams and I think why and next day I always have this feeling so I look them up and all have passed. I know this sounds crazy but had to share this that Julie came to me in my dreams and was young and happy and the same as I remember her. I love u Julie and so sorry to Bob and her three sons ❤️ - Posted by: Terri Jackson (Babysitter friend ) on: Apr 13, 2023
