• I have been researching family history and came across your family by chance. We are related through your grandfather Henry Jarman and his grandmother Mary Ann Davis who gave birth to Rhoda Henry's mother in Plymouth, Devon, UK and subsequently went to live in Holly Cottage Whitchurch, Devon, UK. The cottage still exists and is modernised. The village is beautiful and the church 12 century was used by all our relatives. The graveyard has Henry's mother buried there. I am sure your mother would have found this interesting. We are well aware of Henry's war record. Subsequent members of your family have been involved with the Navy. Plymouth is still a major base. I am retired myself, aged 63, but my mother Isabel who lived in Holly Cottage during WW2 with Henry's sister is still alive, aged 87.
