DONALD WILLIAM WILKINSON
Born January 20, 1942 - Winnipeg , MB
Passed March 6, 2020 - Parksville, BC
He leaves behind his wife Peggy, two children, Ken and Carmen, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and niece Kim Coady.
Don served his country for 18 years in the Naval Reserve, was a member of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons and the Winnipeg Yacht Club, and worked 34 years as a firefighter for the City of Winnipeg. An avid curler and baseball fan, he retired to Qualicum Beach where he spent the past 17 years amongst friends.

He will be greatly missed by his friends and family very much.
"My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Sadly have not had recent contact but memories of time shared years ago with a group of cherished friends including Don are thankfully still intact. So very grateful our paths crossed. - Posted by: Lois and Garry Harland (Friends) on: Mar 14, 2020
