ANNE LORRAINE (BABE) BOWMAN
December 29, 1931 - March 4, 2020
Babe is lovingly remembered by her brother Ken, her niece Jill, her great-niece Emily, and many friends. She was predeceased by her sister Jean, brother-in-law Ken, and her parents, Richard and Henrietta Bowman.
Babe was a teacher by profession. Her love for travel took her to Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Europe, but she always treasured her summers at the cottage at Victoria Beach.
As per Babe's wishes there will be no service.
If friends so desire a donation may be made to the Shriners or a charity of their choice.
"We love and miss you Babe.
Rest In Peace."

We moved into our house on Bloomfield in 1997. The group of neighbors were already an established group, but they welcomed us and especially Jean and Babe were at the parties. They would tell us stories of the days of the big flood and the people who lived in our house before us. Babe was such a positive life force! She laughed and joked all the time. The last time I saw Babe was a couple of years ago when I was visiting my friends Matt and Sonja, who live next door to the family home where Ken and Jean lived and Babe and Jean were now living. Matt insisted we go see the gals and I'm so happy we did, they were as lively as ever and full of jokes and good will!! My goal is too be as fun and positive as Babe as I get older. What a great role model. My condolences to her family we are truly heartbroken to hear of her passing. Sheri Arnason and David McNeil.💔 - Posted by: Sheri Arnason (Neighbor) on: Jun 13, 2020

I am sorry for this late response to Jean and Babe’s passings. I feel blessed to have known them as part of FAB. I dubbed them, and Ken, the Fisher Street Trio. SO many fond memories; So sad to have them gone. From the poems to the parties, they enriched our lives. - Posted by: Terry Vatrt (former neighbour ) on: Jun 13, 2020

The FAB neighbourhood is sad to hear of Babe and Jean's passing - all within 3 weeks of one another. They were a delight to all the neighbours and we will all miss their stories and their sense of humour. Our condolences to their families as well. - Posted by: Lorna Weir (neighbour) on: Mar 24, 2020
