Dad was born August 5, 1936 in Annoplis County (Valley), Nova Scotia. served 7 years honorably within the Canadian army and left to pursue a living to support his family in the trucking industry where he devoted 52 years, retiring at the age of 74. He loved to repair machinery and build. His greatest love was Bbq, gardening. Dad was an avid body builder and won the title of Mr. Senior Manitoba posted in weight building magazine. I will miss his laugh, voice and smile most of all. Dad, I will miss you only for a short while. Many have passed before you and we'll all meet again! - Posted by: Joanne Peters (Daughter) on: Mar 16, 2020

WEEP NOT FOR ME--------- Weep not for me though I have gone, grieve if you will but not for long for my soul's sweet flight, I am at peace, my soul's at rest there is no need for tears, for with my family's love I was so Blessed for all of those many years. There is no more pain I suffer not, the fear is now all gone. Put now these things out of your thoughts, for in my family's memory I live on. Remember the good times and cherish them all. Please do not dwell upon my death but CELEBRATE my life - Posted by: Lana Jasin (Daughter) on: Mar 14, 2020

TO OUR FATHER OUR FRIEND, If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, Please pick a bunch for me, and place them in my Fathers arms, and tell him they"re from me. Tell him we love him and we miss him, and when he turns to smile, Place a Kiss upon his cheek, and hold him for a while, Because remembering him is easy, we do it everyday, But there is an ache within our Hearts that will never go away. In Loving Memory of our Father Franklyn PETERS - Posted by: Lana Jasin (Daughter) on: Mar 14, 2020
