JOHN HRYB
June 4, 1943 - March 10, 2020

On March 10, 2020, John passed away peacefully at the age of 76.
He is survived by his loving wife Beryl; his children, Cory (Sherri) and Katrina (Matthew); grandchildren, Dylan, Michael, Alexander and Logan; sisters, Olga and Stella (Hughie); sister-in-law Susan; nephew Perry (Ines); nieces, Jennifer (Jason), Rachel (Allen), Melissa (Jason) and their families.
He was predeceased by his father Harry; mother Nellie; brother Steve; step-father Sam and brother- in-law Remi.
John was born in Canora and grew up in Invermay, SK. He later moved to Winnipeg and bought a house in Transcona, where he raised his family.
John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He worked very hard to provide for his family.
John enjoyed curling and playing slo-pitch for many years.
He always loved helping out, whether it was coaching or volunteering for his kid's activities, or shoveling snow for the neighbours.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Park Manor Personal Care Home, for taking such good care of John during his stay. He was very happy there.
We would also like to thank the caring staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness and compassion during John's last days.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John to Park Manor Personal Care Home.
