ALEXINE ROUIRE
She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien, on December 10, 2019, her daughter Jocelyne (2008), her daughter-in-law Leona (Meilleur) Rouire (1994), her grandson Gilbert St. Godard (1994), her grandson-in-law Patrick Stokes (2018), her sister and brother-in-law, Georges and Marie St-Godard, and her brother-in-law Georges Tougas. She was also predeceased by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Angele (Viateur Labossiere and Amedee Picton), Agnes (Hugh McGrath and Arthur Buisson), Solange (Henri Viallet and Pierre Mineault), Lucie (Albert) Viallet, Therese (Arthur) Richard, Adrien (Blanche Lalonde), Andre (Therese Bourgeois) and Joseph Robidoux.
Alexine will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Ronald (Noella Gautron), Robert (Audrey Hudson), two sons-in-law, Aurele St-Godard and Robert Currie, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandsons. Alexine is also survived by her sister Therese Tougas, and her sister-in-law Annette Robidoux, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Actionmarguerite St. Vital for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place at a later date. Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagmodiere Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB R2J 4J4, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial service planned for Lucien Rouire on May 9 is cancelled. Final resting place is the Good Samaritan Niche at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
