Shirley and Rosie came to my little Country school 67 years ago and held a summer vacation Bible school. It was there that I first learned about Jesus and accepted Him into my life. Shirley sent me a letter and Christmas card every year. On March 13th this year I was asked to tell my spiritual story at a Senior luncheon. I phoned Shirley the week before and told her how she was a big part of my story. She said she would pray for me. God was so good to give me that opportunity to speak with her before she passed away.What a wonderful godly woman she was! We treasure our visits to Winnipeg to visit our adored aunt and our beautiful phone conversations that we wish we could have more of. Her love was pure, she loved life and praises in Jesus.
