Vera was born in the Olha, Manitoba district and attended school in Olha and Birtle. She married Eric in 1961 and together they had two daughters, Gayle and Cheryl (Jim). The lights of her life were her grandchildren, Ashley (Adam), Andrew, Alex and Graham, as well as her great-grandson Noah. Vera is also survived by her brother Mervin, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by Eric, her parents, Anne and Steve, her sister Jean, her brothers, Boris, Morris, Ronald and Peter, and her son-in-law Barry.
Special thanks to CancerCare Manitoba for the care they provided over the past year and to the staff of Bayshore Home Health for the care that allowed Vera to be at home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
May her love of gardening continue
through her journey.
