LENA SCHMIDT

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our mother Lena Schmidt, who went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the age of 91 years.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Schmidt and is mourned by her children, Kathy Klassen (Arthur), Judy Schmidt, Bertha Schmidt and Norman Schmidt (Heather); five grandsons; six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A private family burial took place at the Oakville Cemetery and a memorial service will be held on a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9 or the Mully Children's Family.
