DIANA JUDY SMITH
Diana will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Michelle Sieber; grandson Alexander Weaver; and son-in-law Tony Sieber. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Elsie Carson; sister Connie Grantham; and first-born daughter Lindsay. Diana was born in Winnipeg (St. Boniface), Manitoba, in 1943. As a young adult, Diana worked for Eaton's department store for a time. However, her primary job, and one she took great pride in, was that of homemaker. She moved from Winnipeg to Vancouver in 1969 and over the next 20 years focused on helping to raise a family, leading bible study groups with close friends and traveling across Canada and into some parts of the United States. In her later years, she ran a thrift shop, was a building caretaker and volunteered for the Union Gospel Mission. Diana loved helping people, socializing and listening to music. She will always be remembered as a strong, loving mother and grandmother and a kind, caring person.
Diana's family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all staff at the Swedish Assisted Living Residences for the dedication, caring and kindness they provided to Diana over the last seven years.
As a result of current global conditions, there will be no memorial service.
