OLIVE MARIE PELLAND
Born to parents, Andrew and Evelyn Owens on December 2, 1922 and raised in Vassar, Manitoba, Olive is predeceased by her husband Joseph and son Paul; as well as her brother Edward and sister Agnes Douglas.
She is survived by her loving children, Larry (Sharon), Lynne (Roger) Gobert, Bob (Iris), Carol and Susie (Steve) Grisim; as well as daughter-in-law Lynne Pelland and sisters, Terry Boutang and Rita Milewski. She will also be deeply missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Always thoughtful and kind, Olive left a lasting impression on all of us. She will be deeply missed, but remembered always.
In keeping with Olive's wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes placed to rest at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home in Winnipeg alongside her husband, when conditions permit.
Due to circumstances, a Memorial Service and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Notice will be provided to family and friends closer to the time. Until then, Olive would want you to keep well and stay safe.
In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, a donation in Olive's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 401-1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6 or to a charity of your choice.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)
My deepest sympathy to Susie and Steve and all of the Pelland family. Your mom was such a kind soul and I will always remember her kindness, hospitality and great baking and cooking. I may have to make a batch of ‘out of the world’ cookies in her honour. She’s at peace and it’s so ironic that she should pass on my mom’s birthday who lived a few houses down from the Pellands. Two beautiful souls looking upon their families. May you rest in peace Mrs. Pelland. Take good care of her maman! - Posted by: Pauline Belanger (Friend of family ) on: Apr 04, 2020
Our thoughts are with you. Keep in touch. - Posted by: Bryan & Bridget Roberton (Friends) on: Apr 04, 2020
My deepest condolences to you Larry and Sharon, and to your family on the loss of your Mother. She was a remarkable lady. Yvette Guilleminot. - Posted by: Yvette Guilleminot (Friend of Larry and Sharon) on: Apr 04, 2020
