MARGARET (PEGGY) FRANCES GOODMAN
(nee LEAR)
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jim; daughter, Maureen; granddaughters, Michelle-Lynne and Tannis; and great-grandchildren, Kasen and Mikayla.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda, (Sid) Jim (Sue) and Bob; grandchildren, Mike, Lisa, Scott (Athena), Stacey (Steve), Allison (Ryan) and Trisha (Courtney) as well as 17 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jim (Betty) and Bert (Lil).
Over the years Mom enjoyed gardening, golf and travelling, as well as serving on a variety of club executives. One of her favourite pastimes was attending the Blue Bomber games which she did for over 40 years.
Mom was a strong, loving woman and family was always of upmost importance to her. She was always there to listen, support and advise. We are blessed to have so many wonderful memories of camping, travelling and family times spent at her home.
We will always love you, Mom and strive to live our lives in a way that honours your memory.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

I remember our family trips back to Winnipeg after we left for BC. My dad had enough of hot summers and cold winters. The adult card games in St. Vital are such a vivid memory. Us kids running around like crazy and the adults just oblivious to the racket. Your mom was such a kind, generous woman and I'm glad you had many many years to love her. I was thinking about Winnipeg and about your family, so here I am. Cherished memories. - Posted by: Diane Reimer (Family friend) on: May 28, 2026
