In loving memory of Marc Rolland Desrochers who passed away on March 14, 2020, in Winnipeg, at the age of 22 years.
Marc will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents, Roger and Jackie Desrochers, his sister and friend Rachelle (Tyler), grandfathers, Rolland Desrochers and Paul Grenier (Florence), aunts and uncles, Claude and Anita Desrochers, Mitch and Darlene Grenier, Tony Grenier and Claudette MacDonald, and cousins, Melissa (James), Samara (Will), Paul, Kyle, Shanelle, Stephanie and Ryan; and a large group of amazing friends and their families.
Predeceased by grandmothers, Noella Grenier and Alice Desrochers.
Born on March 13, 1998, in Winnipeg, to beloved parents, Roger and Jackie. He was very close to his sister Rachelle, they always looked out for each other.
Marc loved the outdoors. As a child, you would find him building a snow fort in the front yard with the family dog Dixie or across the street shovelling the neighbour's snow or cutting their grass.
Marc had a heart of gold, was caring, polite, generous and kind and would do anything to help anyone, anytime, anywhere. His smile would light up any room, his laugh was contagious and he always gave 110% in everything he did. Marc graduated from College Jeanne Sauvé in 2016. He made friends wherever he went, playing hockey, at school, at work and at the lake.
He was an entrepreneur with a successful landscaping business, and was blessed to work with his dad during the winter months. Marc's happy place was the lake, where he helped build the family cottage from the ground up. He spent most weekends at the lake, swimming, tubing, boating, snowmobiling, or sitting by the bonfire with family and friends.
He touched so many people in so many ways and will be missed dearly. We are truly grateful for the 22 wonderful years we were blessed to spend with him.
We plan to gather and celebrate his life at a later date.
