Ronita attended the Central Luzon State University in Lupao, Philippines. There she graduated with a degree in Education and taught Chemistry, Science, and Spanish prior to her immigrating to Canada. Besides managing MAG, she enjoyed
crosswords, gardening, Lexulous online, line dancing at Valour Community Club, outings with friends, and of course time with her two young grandchildren, as well with her family who loved and adored her. She also cherished the memories of road trips with Noel,
restoring their 1960s Pontiac and being a part of the Manitoba Antique and Classic Auto Club with him.
The Roy family would like to thank the wonderful Palliative Care nurses at both St. Boniface Hospital and the Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care.
A private service with family will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home with a
Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Interment was held at Glen Lawn Cemetery in the family plot.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)
I only had the pleasure of getting to know Ronita over the last 3 or 4 years after joining the Irish Myst choir. Ronita (being a close friend of Irene's) would happily and loyally come out to lend her support at our choir activities and fund faisers. She was a lovely, friendly person. I feel fortunate to have met her. My deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends. Rest in peace Ronita. - Posted by: Lorraine Thistlethwaite (Friend / member of Irish Myst Choir ) on: Apr 13, 2020
