Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWADE MICHAEL KIDD
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, Wade Michael Kidd. After a brief illness, Wade passed away on April 2, 2020 at the age of 54.
Wade will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Pamela Kidd; mother Cecile Kidd; sons, Matthew Kidd (Jessica), Trevor Kidd; mother-in-law Irene Malone; grandchildren, Jaycee and Gunnar; brother-in-law Michael Malone (Shelley); sisters-in-law, Leigh Malone, Patti Malone, Lynne Weichman (Ian), Tracy Backus (Ted) and many nieces and nephews.
Wade was predeceased by his father George Kidd; father-in-law Robert Malone; sister-in-law Laurie Seel and her husband Brian Seel. He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins in Saskatoon. Wade had fond memories hanging out with his cousins on the farm in Rama, Saskatchewan.
Wade was born in Winnipeg on May 30, 1965 and graduated from Shaftsbury High School.
Wade worked as an air mechanic engineer for 25 plus years and changed careers at the age of 48 and obtained his fifth class engineer certificate. For the past several years, Wade was employed as a custodian with the Louis Riel School Division. Wade loved his job and took great pride in his work. Everything that Wade did was done to perfection as he put his whole heart into it. Tributes from the students, teachers and associates on the Windsor Park Collegiate twitter account is a true testament to Wade's character (@wpcLRSD).
Wade enjoyed being outdoors, camping, boating, fishing and puttering in the yard. Some of his happiest times were out at the lake, even though he could never sit still! Wade loved camping with his many dear friends at the lake. He looked forward to family gatherings and would barbeque for the family with no obvious effort.
Wade was very proud of his sons, Matthew and Trevor and would brag about them to anyone who would sit and listen. His love of his grandchildren knew no bounds.
Wade was a great husband, wonderful father, loving son, brother-in-law, uncle and a great friend. His monster hugs made us feel safe and his easygoing manner kept us calm in stressful times. Wade was a steady ship in a crazy storm, and now he is gone.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Grace Hospital, the Health Sciences Centre and the St. Boniface Hospital for the care and comfort provided.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dear Pam, Trevor and Family, It is with great sadness that I write this. While we haven't known you for all that long, we feel a huge loss in our summer family. I remember one time when Trevor couldn't make it out to cut our lawn and when I showed up after work Wade was sweating his butt off cutting the lawn for Trevor. Wade told me promises made, promises kept. I knew then that I would be having many beverages with him. Be proud of the legacy that your husband, father and grand-father has left. He was a great friend and will be missed by all that he ever touched. Rest in Peace Wade Neil & Tammy - Posted by: Neil & Tammy Sawatzky (Friend) on: Apr 13, 2020

Dear Pam, Treavor and family. We are so saddened to hear of Wade's passing. We really enjoyed having you as our neighbours at the lake for the many years we were there. We came to know and appreciate Wade and his kind, friendly, and helpful nature. He often made us look bad for working so hard while we were relaxing! We shared many stories and had many wonderful conversations, and we know he will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Wade.
