ALVIN ALLEN CHARR
He is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Lorraine; his children, Laura and Curtis (wife Gisele); and his grandchildren, Ginelle, Genadyne, Alexa, Ashley and Joshua.
He was loved deeply and will be dearly missed. His love for his family was unwavering and unconditional. He was the "best of us" and will be remembered fondly by many for his generosity, sense of humour, kind heart and gentle spirit.
A memorial will be planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

My deepest sympathy to you Lorraine and the rest of the Charr family. I had a pleasure of knowing Al at Dakota House and he was such a generous and kindhearted person. We shared a lot of good laughs whenever him and Lorraine went for their daily brunch. I wish to offer my sympathies to Al Charr's family. I had the pleasure of working in the same area as Al several years ago. To me, Al was a friendly helpful person who worked hard and liked a good laugh. He was a fun guy to be around. Special condolences to Curtis whom I worked with some time ago.
