ALICE CLAIRE LAUMAN
1922 - 2020
Alice was predeceased by her husband Allan (1987), parents, Marie Louise and Pat Langan, nine brothers, two sisters, and great-grandson Owen.
Alice is survived by her two sons, Brian (Denette) and Bruce (Carol), grandchildren, Brent (Sara) and Stacey Michaud (Danny), great-grandchildren, Levi, Cole, Ayden and Elly, along with many nieces and nephews.
Alice was born in Boggy Creek, MB June 26, 1922, grew up on the family farm and later made her home in Winnipeg. She married Allan June 7, 1952. Alice was primarily a stay at home mom working briefly at T&T Seeds and Eaton's Warehouse when the boys were older. She took great joy in gardening, cooking and baking, caring for her dogs and spending time with her family.
Thank you to the staff at Fred Douglas Personal Care Home for their care and compassion; especially on Willow unit where she resided for the past seven years.
Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held. A celebration of Alice's life will be held at a later date when it is safe to do so.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
