It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of René Hebert on April 15, 2020 at the St. Boniface Hospital, where he was born 69 years ago.
He was predeceased by his mother Lillian; father Maurice; brothers, John (Roslyn), Dennis and sister Delores.
He leaves behind his wife Jean; daughters, Danielle and Christa; son Marc; sister Pierrette; brother Gilles (Nancy); nieces, Linda Dawn, Kimberley, Jillian and nephews, Max, Cary (mother freda), Kyle and Lawerance. René was was a great father, always putting his family first.
He will be remembered for his patience, love for birds, food (especially toast) and that he was a book of knowledge for just about everything. He had a wonderful sense of humour; when he laughed, you somehow wanted to always laugh with him. He was always there for everyone, putting everyone before himself and a favourite to many people. He wasn't fancy, but always wanted the best for everyone. He always took his time and would say "tomorrow's another day." He will be sadly missed.

Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Our condolences go out to the Rene Hebert family. He was the shuttle bus driver for our organization for many years. He always committed to getting the job done, even when the weather was not extremely cooperative. Our staff would constantly speak highly of Rene and we knew that our staff was in good hands. He was very well liked and appreciated, and is missed by all. Thank you Rene. - Posted by: Westfield Industries (Colleague) on: Apr 30, 2020

  • Jean and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Rene’s passing. Although we lost touch over the years I will always treasure our friendship. It began many years ago when we were both so young. I will always be thankful to Rene and his family for the way they watched over me and cared for me in my younger years. I will always treasure the memories I have of Rene and his family.
