NANCY KONCHUK

Mom passed away peacefully on April 14, 2020, at the age of 80, at River Park Gardens Care Home.
Mom was born September 13, 1939 in Treherne, Manitoba.
Mom is survived by her children, Mike (Anna), Linda (Ed), Tony (Allyson), and Kim (Reggie).
Mom is also survived by her sisters, Elaine, Gerry, Deb. She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Edith Hayward; and her brother, Reg. Mom leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mom lived her life on her own terms, and never accepted being told what to do.
Mom worked as a cook and hairdresser for most of her adult life. She loved to cook for family and friends, and was known for making the best perogies.
Thank you to Victoria and the staff at River Park Gardens for all the love and compassion they have shown to Mom and her family. Thank you to Dr. R. Hayward for caring for Mom for many years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to River Park Gardens Recreation Program.
A celebration of Mom's life will be held at a later date.
