While my friendship with John was a relatively short one, three years, it was an impactful one! John encouraged me to look at things from various points of view and to accept the human-ness of others. Despite the many flaws he saw in humanity he was convinced that we would see the light and save ourselves and this planet. He always gave me hope. I will miss his generous spirit. - Posted by: Paula Keirstead (Friend) on: Apr 18, 2020

I met John in the 1980s when we both worked for seniors group activities. I was impressed by his ability to speak and plan well. He was a fountain of ideas. We met again at Spirit's Call choir where we sang for personal, cultural and international diversity. His friendship and story telling skills were priceless. He will be greatly missed by our world. - Posted by: Esther Korchynski (Friend) on: Apr 18, 2020
