With great sadness, we announce the passing of Theresa Margaret LeMaître, a beautiful soul; a gifted, creative seamstress and needleworker, and an intelligent, generous, and witty spirit who was always ready to help her friends. She passed unexpectedly and far too soon.

  • Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. Theresa seems like such a wonderful person and I know her absence will be felt very deeply. You have my deepest sympathy and love. - Posted by: Carla Fleming (Mary’s Friend) on: Oct 13, 2021

  • My relationship began years ago at St. Mary's when she began babysitting my son. Our friendship continued over the years. Anytime there was a problem in my life, Theresa was always there to help. I never had to ask. She just showed up always doing just what was needed to lift my spirits. We were supporting each other during this period of self isolation with jokes, cheering each other on and solving the world's problems. I will always miss her smile, her laughter, her kindness and her straight forward talk. Sure going to miss you, girl. - Posted by: Carole Rankin (Friend) on: Apr 28, 2020

  • Theresa was a wonderful friend, a whiz at crosswords and not afraid to speak up on behalf of others. She was a regular blood donor, a lover of animals, generous with her time and skills, really just an all round decent, good woman. Will miss her smile, her laugh, her camaraderie and banter. Our heartfelt sympathy to her much loved and cherished children Ali, Eli and Sam. Rudy and Margaret-you raised a daughter to be proud of-and she held you in high regard! Mary and Benedicte-she admired you both. We loved her and will miss her-May she rest in Peace! Theresa is now with her younger brother, Jean. She would be glad of that. - Posted by: Janice and Todd (friend) on: Apr 20, 2020

  • I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Theresa children and extended family. I met Theresa through a mutual friend at St. Ignatius Parish when our children were much younger. Theresa brought joy, warmth and compassion. Fresh ideas and input which I appreciated. I enjoyed our chance meetings on Corydon. Catching up on each other’s lives. I am truly grateful for the gift of Theresa’s life and the beautiful imprint she left on our hearts. May perpetual light shine upon Theresa. May the God of all consolation embrace her beloved family and friends. - Posted by: Carol Lawrence (Friend) on: Apr 18, 2020

  • I met Theresa when we worked at Basils. Our friendship was swift and deep. We shared many experiences together but I cannot believe that I am writing this tribute to her. She was so much more than the few words that I am writing. To her family know she was loved and respected. Heres to you sister...you will be missed. - Posted by: Kathleen Hill (friend) on: Apr 18, 2020

  • I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome person in 2017..we meet at work and became good friends. I will miss her dearly and our coffee times, our chats and my gym buddy. A day never went by without many chats and for me that ended with the last message on April 6 just after midnight. RIP my friend - Posted by: Ramona Meikle (Friend) on: Apr 18, 2020
