July 9, 1935 - April 18, 2020

On Saturday, April 18, 2020, with family by his side, Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Doris, sister Audrey, and brother Ted. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Nettie, whom he was so dedicated to; his children, Kim (Bob), Pamela (Blaine), Leslie; stepchildren, Danny (Kathy), and Debbie (John); grandchildren, Corie (Edward, great-grandchild Hannah), Kevin (Rannah), Danika (Kade), Michael, Joel (Margaux), and Lindsey (Steve).
Bob worked for the railway, and eventually Labatt's where he retired from. He was an avid hunter and snowmobiler in his young years; and enjoyed visiting Phoenix and camping. He was a man of many stories which he would entertain everyone with.
Bob's wishes are to be cremated, and a private service will be held at a later date.
We wish to thank Concordia Hospital, Donwood Manor, and home care workers Janice and Paulette for all their support. A special thank you to Danny, Kathy, Debbie, and John for embracing Dad (Bob) into their family.

Rest in peace Dad. Love you.

  • Dear Nettie and family. Hi Nettie. I have been trying to contact you and Bob for a year or so, with no luck. As you know i would call at least a couple of times a year just to stay in touch. So sorry to hear of Bobs passing. We spent years together as teenagers, and I have many memories of Bob, as he was two years older then me, but kind of mentored me as a young buck. He was a good friend and a great guy. I am saddened by his loss, and even more so that I did not get to talk to him before he passed. Please express Marion and my condolences to the family, and let them know what a great dad, grandfather, and friend who knew Bob, he was. Deepest sincerity, ‘ Jack and Marion McBride - Posted by: Jack McBride (Close friend) on: Apr 26, 2020
