  • Hi Carla, I'm sorry to hear of your Don's passing. It is sad when we lose our best friend and partner, especially, so young. God Bless! Kerp well! Susan - Posted by: Susanna COOKE (Associate of Carla through WC if WSO) on: Apr 27, 2020

  • Carla, fond memories of Don from a childhood neighbour. My sister Jocelyn and I lived across the street at 109 Kingston Row. I am 75. My parents were friends of Jack and Anne. A group of neighbourhood friends used to play together pre-school days. Don’s father was a really nice man, everyone liked him. Both the Campbells and the Burgesses had cottages at Falcon Lake. In our teens my sister Jocelyn and I used to go to West Hawk Pub along with our boyfriends. Don was a super pianist and used to play at the Pub, his favourite was “I am Henry the 8th I am”. A difficult time for you, keep well, Gerri Abbott - Posted by: Gerri abbott Nee Burgess (Neighbour) on: Apr 27, 2020

  • We have known Don for over 30 years and were truly saddened by his passing. Stan will miss him at the Gun Club and the many lunches and long chats. He was a great friend whose cheerful manner and sense of humour will be missed. His emails made us laugh and helped brighten our day. Our sincere sympathy goes out to Carla at this difficult time. • Carla, many people never experience another's absolute devotion from a spouse. It was so clear to us all that Don loved you so much and was devoted to you. Cherish those memories of your life together! - Posted by: Susan McIvor (Neighbour) on: Apr 25, 2020
