It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Brent, on April 22, 2020. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Brent leaves to mourn his wife Jill; son Brett; and daughter Amanda (Jiayi); sisters, Diane (Numi) and Jan (Dave); brother Brian; nieces, Karilee (Jamie), Brandy (D.J.), Jordana (Brayden); nephew Jesse and great-nieces and nephews, Tyler, Jessica, Brittany, Camryn, Charleigh and Eric. He was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Bruce.
Brent was a fun, loving guy. He loved his family and friends, his dog Marley, cooking and his shiny black SUV. He was an avid sports fan and was happy to see the Blue Bombers bring home the Grey Cup. He had a passion for music and for many years he played the drums for the band The Lost Highway.
There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.

The drums sit still for now but Rock on Simo. We love you and will deeply miss you.

  • I know exactly what you all are going through right now. To lose someone in this way is unbearable at times because you have so many questions but no answers. Whenever I look at any one of you from now on I will think of Brent because, quite honestly, there is a little bit of him in each one of you. He was funny, passionate in his beliefs, he literally lived to the beat of his own drum. He was an excellent cook, great drummer, great husband & father, brother, uncle, nephew & friend. Brent had a lot more living to do but wasn’t afforded that opportunity. Let’s celebrate his life every day even in in just some small way. He would love that. Bye for now Brent. Love you my friend❤️ - Posted by: Linda Schoffer (Friend) on: Apr 25, 2020
