SUSAN LOIS ENNIS
(née MASSEY)
February 9, 1965 - April 22, 2020
Susan was born in Burnaby, BC, the proud daughter of Ray and Fern Massey. Susan grew up in Victoria, Ottawa, Shilo, Lahr, Germany and Winnipeg. Susan spent much of her school years in Winnipeg, where she attended John Taylor Collegiate and graduated from Sturgeon Creek Collegiate.
Susan is survived by parents, Ray and Fern Massey, husband Rick, two children, Jenna Hopkins (Jon) and Taylor Ennis (Ashley), grandchildren, Willow and Sawyer Hopkins, brother Robert Massey (Jill), and sister Heide Saj (Gary, Miya and Rhianna).
Susan's family and friends want to tremendously thank all the staff at the Stonewall General Hospital. The care Susan received during the final weeks of her battle was nothing short of exceptional.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for a donation to be made in Susan's honour, to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. A virtual walk will be taking place on June 27, 2020. All proceeds go to providing support, education, information and research funding for brain tumour patients and their families.

I am so very sorry to hear of Susan's passing. I was her friend Junior High (Alexander Ross School). She would often take me to her house for lunch time. I remember she looked forward to figuring skating on the weekends when her dad us to drive her. She definitely was one friend that I will never forget. God Bless her and my sincere sympathy and condolences to her whole family. - Posted by: Cheryle (Friend) on: May 19, 2020

My sincerest condolences to everyone who loved and cherished this brilliant woman taken way too soon. I will always cherish the great times I had with Sue in our young days and then reuniting again both living and raising our families in Stonewall. There was never a dull moment when Susan was around she lit up the room with her infectious smile and laughter, no one knew how to have fun like her. Thankfully she had more fun in her shortened life than most could ever dream of, guess she didn’t waste time for a reason. Thoughts are with you; Mel - Posted by: Melanie Bernas Boutet (Friend ) on: May 02, 2020
