Condolences & Memories (13 entries)
I would like to share some of my memories of Eddie. I only know of him from the times he would stop by to visit my dad, Joe. Eddie would pop in to see my dad in Winnipeg to catch up on things from time to time. I’m not even sure how they knew each other. My dad was a painter and I think Eddie might have worked with him for a few years. I remember how happy my dad and mom would be when Eddie came over for a brief weekend morning visit. Eddie was always so positive, cheerful, caring and funny. When he heard about my dad being ill, he visited even more often. I would like to offer my sincere condolences. Even though I didn’t know Eddie on a personal level, my memories of him have always stuck with me. He was a truly someone special. - Posted by: Edward Klajncar (Friend) on: Mar 13, 2021

Linda, there are really no words to express how truly saddened Ron and I are about Eddie's passing. He was a man that was larger than life, with a great sense of humor and a great sense of honor. I remember celebrating many special occasions at your home, with Eddie being such a wonderful host! May your memories of Eddie be a comfort to you and your family at this very difficult time. We send you much love always. - Posted by: Brenda Peloquin (Malcowich) (Cousin ) on: May 07, 2020
The Shewell family in Ontario is very saddened by Eddie’s passing. Eddie’s sister Gladys who passed away recently was married to Jim Shewell. The Trachuk and Shewell families are intertwined with shared cousins, uncles etc. We have enjoyed many family events and celebrations together. Eddie with his big personality always had a smile on his face. Jim says you could count on Eddie to wake everyone up very early morning to share a coffee with him. I have shared numerous fun times and laughs with Eddie since childhood, the farm will not be the same without him. Linda and family we all send our deep condolences and will keep Eddie and you in our thoughts and prayers. Jackie Nobles ( Shewell ) and the entire Ontario Shewell family. xxxooo - Posted by: Jacqueline Nobles (Friend ) on: May 07, 2020
