December 15, 1938 - May 11, 2015
In loving memory of
my beloved husband
and best friend
who passed away
five years ago.
Our hearts were joined the day we wed,
For 51 years we shared life wherever it led.
Then came the day we had to part,
You had to go, it broke my heart.
You didnt deserve what you went through,
I felt your pain as I journeyed with you.
I miss your humour, I miss your smile,
I'd love to chat with you awhile.
Still, you are here in the twinkling light,
I say HI HON, "How was your night?".
I close my eyes and feel your touch,
I smell your scent I miss so much.
With tear stained face I am here alone,
In this empty space that was our home.
Please wait for me at Heaven's door,
Where we will be joined as we were before.
Once more we'll meet with a joyful glance,
To love and laugh, perhaps to dance.
I miss you so, I always will,
I loved you then, I love you still.
Keep shining brightin Heaven so you
can light my way.
Sadly missed and
lovingly remembered
