My Precious Brother
There could not be more love
in a sister's heart.
Deep in my heart your memory is kept -
to treasure and never forget.
You are my big brother and
we shared a wonderful bond.
A smile tries to hide my heartache and
I say I am doing fine,
but to all those who have lost a loved one -
know how it changes you in time.
I miss our days at the horse races and
our dinners at Rae and Jerrys
along with our Sunday pasta dinners.
WORDS can never express the loss I feel.
How privileged I am to have known
the beautiful love of my mother and brother.
May God shine His love upon you both and
may you always walk in sunshine.
I am so proud and will always
be glad to be your sister
and I treasure the love we shared.
Deeply missed from day to day.
