JAMES EDWARD OLDERSHAW
He leaves to mourn myself, Debby, his loving wife of 42 years; our daughter Lea (Randy); their children, Haley and Brady; our grandchildren who papa adored; our son Casey (Gwen) and daughter Julie (Nick). He will be dearly missed by his sisters, Robbin, Cathy and his twin Laurie (Rick) and many nieces and nephews. He was also loved by all my family in BC.
Jim will miss his golfing buddies, Jim, John and Kevin, as well as his longest friends, Roy, Allan and Gary. We have lived on "Bacardi Bay" for 36 years and have the best neighbours ever! They admired Jim's landscaping skills, always puttering and chatting to everyone walking by and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was also a great cook, famous for his beef in a bun and papa's spaghetti. Jim was a passionate cattle buyer for 48 years. Well respected, loyal and trustworthy; he thanks his customers and co-workers for all the great years. He was a family man who loved and supported his kids and taught them many valuable life lessons by leading by example.
A true gentleman - Cheers Jimmy O.
A private service will be held at a later date.

My deepest sympathies to you and family. Jim will be surely missed, even in semi retirement he still came every week in fall, think he loved what he did and the environment. Always had time to say Hello, and give advice when asked. Thank you Jim, may you rest in peace. - Posted by: Brad Thorlacius (Friend and former manager from Ashern auction mart) on: May 17, 2020
