  • Condolences to the family, as they pass through this difficult time. We knew Rick as teaching friends for many years, and he was one of the most caring and giving person we knew. There was no shortage of humour when he was around. He loved to fish and hunt or just to be out in the natural world. I remember being at his house once and AJ gave a demonstration of her skills on the pipes. He will be missed. Orville & Lillian. - Posted by: Orville & Lillian (Dear friends.) on: May 17, 2020

  • My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Rick right from the time he came to MITT (WTC). We had a great time working together and a lot of laughs. Rick was a very generous person and was always there when you needed him. He was great with students and always found the solutions to help them succeed. I have missed him terribly not seeing his smiling face every day. I will always be grateful for his friendship and great sense of humor. Rest in peace dear friend. • PJ and AJ Sending a sincere hug and support at this time. I'm sorry you're dealing with this, they say it's part of life on this planet, I think it's a pretty difficult piece of the puzzle. I know your Dad had hope and faith in a next and better adventure waiting for him, let's all embrace that hope and find peace even though the road is rough presently for us who remain on this mortal planet.
