It's been one year since I lost you. I've carried on with a hole in my heart. Not an hour goes by when I don't think of you and miss you. You were the center of my world, my rock, my companion, my good time. You invited me to your beautiful place at the lake and made me welcome and warm. I still love it there, though your laughter is gone and its colours and sounds are diminished. I miss travelling with you, always up for a sight, an excursion, a lunch, a glass of wine to restore our energy.
I have beautiful memories to cherish, wrapped in your love.
You are forever and constant in my heart.
