EDWARD THOMAS JENNER
Ed was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on May 13, 1937. He grew up there and, as a young man, became active in the Kildonan Canoe Club. There he met Barbara and they were married in 1962. Ed and Barbara moved to Calgary, Alberta, in 1967 and their two daughters came along soon after. Ed was a successful entrepreneur and enjoyed what he did so much that he was only convinced to fully retire in 2018. He took pride in his neatly kept yard and enjoyed traveling, a good steak and get togethers with friends and especially with his family.
Ed will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Barbara; his daughters, Cheryl (Dan) and Karen (Richard); and his five treasured grandchildren, Alexander, Hilary, Ethan, Elliot and Nolan. Ed also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
A private family gathering was held at Foster's Garden Chapel on Friday, May 15, 2020. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.net
