He leaves behind to mourn him his spouse Grace; children, Laurel, Joey (Chantelle), Josh (Trisha) and Jenna (Bjorn); grandchildren, Kyle, Ivan, Eric, Felicity, Joey, Sunny, Bronson, Winston, Sawyer, Luke, Gracie and Blair; mother-in-law Thelma Sigfusson; brothers, Ivan (Dianne) and Doug (Lorraine); nephews, Kevin (Mindy), Bradley (Karlee) and Jay (Jenn); niece Karen (Kevin); brother-in-law Larry McCauley; sisters-in-law, Maryanne, Olof, Gail (Felix), Dawn and their families; his special cousins, friends and neighbours as well as his many beloved pets.
Russell was predeceased by his parents, Jenny and Joe Johannson; sister Patsy McCauley; son Dennis; nephew Erik Johannson; and brothers-in-law, John Smith, Johnny, Howie, Siggy and Frankie Sigfusson.
Cremation is to take place with a private family gathering to be set at a later date.

Russel was a friend to many and a practical joker as many will recall. I loved him like a brother even though we have been estranged for quite a while. We shared many years together and I will miss him even more now. He will always be close to my heart and in my memories.
