It is with immense sadness, that we
announce the peaceful passing of Thelma on May 12, 2020 at the age of 89 years.
Thelma was predeceased by her loving
husband John of 56 years, her father Percy and mother Ellen, her brother Stan, and
sisters, Irene, Jean and Bette.
She is survived by daughter Tracey (Frank), son Dale, and sister-in-law and best friend Beryl Henry, her friend and roommate Gail, as well as many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Thelma was a furious knitter who could
design and knit the most beautiful pieces without a pattern. She loved music and
spending time with her extended family at holiday celebrations. After the passing of her beloved husband John, she spent many happy years at Lindenwood Manor, where she made many wonderful friends and was so well
taken care of. She donated to numerous
charities, but animals always held a special place in her heart.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre would be appreciated.
Due to the current circumstances of Covid-19, family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date. Thelma will be reunited with John at their resting place at Glen Lawn Cemetery.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Family and friends may sign a
book of condolence at
