(nee MELNICK)
1935 - 2020
Barbara was predeceased by her husband Patrick Johnson, her mother, Jean Melnick (nee Squires) and her father Charles Melnick.
She is survived by her brother Edward C. Melnick (Inis), her niece Christine Melnick (Trevor), and cousins on both her Melnick and Squires side of the family.
Barbara was born and raised in Winnipeg attending Earl Grey and Kelvin High Schools, United College and the University of Manitoba. She eventually made her home in California where she attended UCLA receiving her Education Degree.
Barbara is fondly remembered by her Winnipeg family for her adventurist spirit and kind words of wisdom.
She will be laid to rest with her mother in Elmwood Cemetery in Winnipeg.
