THERESE DESMARAIS

On Saturday, March 21, 2020, Therese Desmarais (Saindon) passed away peacefully at St-Boniface Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Therese was predeceased by her daughter Suzanne, granddaughter Madisson, parents, Emile and Laura Saindon, sister Maria, her brothers, Edmond and Emilien, and in-laws, Alfred and Agnes Desmarais.
Therese was born in Richer, MB on October 9, 1942. She married Robert Desmarais in September 1963; they were married for 57 years. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Therese enjoyed sewing baby blankets for her children and grandchildren, gardening and decorating her home for the Christmas holiday. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Robert; son Frank; daughters, Nicole and Suzanne; grandchildren, Dustin, Brandon, Chelsea, Taylor, Jessica, Amy, Sara, Sean, Brooklyn, Ethan, Jacob and Lilyan; sisters and brothers, Simone (Romeo), Cecile (Lorne), Jeannine, Gerard (Jeannine), Emile (Candice), and sister-in-law Loraine.
The family wish to thank the doctors and nurses at the St-Boniface Hospital for their kindness and care during her final days.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Therese's life will be held at later date.
Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in honour of Therese.
