AURORE ALLARY
(nee MENARD)
December 19, 1925 - May 17, 2020
She is survived by her daughters, Darlene, Donna (Clive), Karen (Wally), Wendy, and sons, Robin and Doug (Becky), grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Alexandra, Devon, Dylan, Carlyn and Rory, and great-grandchildren, Brittany and Tyler. She is also survived by her brother Fernand, and sisters, Olive and Ida.
She grew up on the family farm in Ste. Eustache, Manitoba before moving to Winnipeg to raise the family. A private person, she absolutely cherished the time spent with her siblings and children.
We would like to thank the staff of Actionmarguerite for the compassionate care they provided our mother, especially with the social distancing protocols related to the pandemic.
There will be no formal service at this time. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.

God bless my aunt Judy. Always cheerful when we met and a joy to chat with about family history. The homestead west of Winnipeg was where she, my Dad (Fern) and her siblings entertained each other with their renditions of radio favorites. Was it tante Aurore singing Over the Rainbow by Judy Garland that earned her the name? Maybe, but those early years spent singing-strumming-humming those old songs seem to bring a smile to her face when I would ask about them. Rest in peace aunty Judy. My Maman (Tessie), brother Gab, sisters Rox & Colette, join me in sending our most sincere sympathies to our cousins and their families. - Posted by: Claude Menard (nephew ) on: May 24, 2020

To Don Rose, Sorry I am not the Donna that you thought you knew at William Osler School. I did not attend that school. - Posted by: Donna Allary (daughter) on: May 24, 2020

Hi....my name is Don and I went to William Osler in Winnipeg with Donna. I remember sitting next to her in class and thinking I will never have a chance to date such a beautiful girl. I can see where you got your looks from. Your Mom was beautiful. My heart goes out to your family. I lost my Mom in 1990. Thinking of you at this very tough time....
