1925 - 2020

On May 24, 2020, our dear mother went to be with Jesus and her family in Heaven. As it is so hard for us to let her go, we know she was tired and she accomplished what she needed to on this earth.
My mom's life was her family and she gave every inch of love that the good Lord gave her to us. She was the heart and faith of our family. She was not loud or outspoken, but her presence was huge and significant to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all her nieces and nephews in ways too numerous to describe. My mom loved her budgie birds that she had over the years and her beloved cat Theo. She loved taking care of plants and baking, making bannock and homemade bread and buns for her family. She liked reading biographies of country singers and loved the old country music. She loved pictures of her family, as every inch of the walls were filled with them.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Fred and son Tommy; parents, Nancy and Joseph; sisters, Mary and Sr. Ida; brothers, Angus, Emile, Arsene, Jim; as well as her nieces and nephews that she loved so dearly.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joan, Fred (Lisa), Debra (Ken), Patricia (Steve); her grandchildren, Candace, Lacey, Clayton, Jacqueline, James, Joseph, Steven, Cory, Christina, Justin, Caleb, Melanie, Rebecca, Kathlene and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews who cherished her.
Special thanks go to the Palliative Care and home care workers that helped us with mom, as we cared for her in her last weeks at home.
Due to assembly and gathering restrictions currently in place, my mom's funeral will take place at a later date at Kateri Parish.

Mom: God sent you to me as a special gift from above to teach me life lessons and shower me with your love, you did both!
