Conrado Raneses Apdan, aged 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2020. He was born September 19, 1945, in Moncada, Tarlac, Philippines.
He is survived by his wife Imelda "Emy", daughter Joy and her husband Steve Bell, son Jeffery and his wife Racquel, and his beloved grandchildren, Lucas and Abigail. He is also survived by his loving nephew Leonardo Yasay, his wife Merly and their children, Nikki and CJ. He also leaves behind a large family in the Philippines and Winnipeg, who will miss him dearly.
"Tirso" arrived in Canada in 1975 to marry his lifelong love. He was a tailor for Lionetti Custom Tailors for 35 years. Tirso was a master of many trades and had many hobbies. He enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden and making wine to share with family and friends. A lifelong fisherman, he spent hours on the shores of Manitoba's rivers and lakes. Tirso had an uncanny ability to make friends with everyone. He touched the lives of many people because he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
To continue Conrad's acts of kindness, the family asks you to consider donating in his memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
The family wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at CancerCare, Victoria General Hospital for giving him the gift of time with his family. Many thanks to the nurses at Urgent Care, Victoria Hospital for allowing his grandchildren the opportunity to say goodbye.
Due to the current restrictions with Covid 19, the funeral service has already taken place. When restrictions are lifted, a Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date.

Dad, you will be missed, and

  • So, Conrad ,I only heard today of your passing. so sorry we didn't get to say goodbye. My condolences to Imelda and family. We remember Conrad as a very kind and gentle man.   • Manong Tirso is a very kindhearted, generous and down to earth to everyone. I will surely miss his yearly packages of fish and vegetables, through Greyhound and friends who comes to Calgary...Fishing in his freezer is open to everyone who ask fish from him.
