Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • I can never forget the fun times we had at the house in St. Norbert. All those kids, The Du Pas family, and so many others. The dancing in the kitchen to violin playing, square dancing, and fun us kids had. I particularly remember baseball games in the field across the road from the Lauze home, and all. My Dad was the brother of Mariette's mother, Marie. So sorry we couldn't keep in touch. All my sympathies to the family. - Posted by: Ron DeGagne (cousin) on: Jul 19, 2021

- Posted by: Jeannine Vermette snjm (Amie) on: Jun 24, 2020

  • To Leo and family of Mariette, I had the privilege to cook along side of Mariette a number of times in the past. The Delmar family have missed Leo and Mariette last while. It was sad that we could not visit her. However I can't imagine what you all must have had to deal with non visiting policy during the pandemic. So sorry for your loss. • My condolences to my uncle Leo and my cousins. Your mother's smile will be missed, I loved her very much. - Posted by: cam lagasse (nephew) on: Jun 08, 2020

  • My sympathies a mon cousin Leo Chartier et ses enfants. I had the pleasure last year near the end of August in meeting Mariette in St. Boniface. We spoke for a few minutes downstairs in the lobby. We spoke of how we were related. And when I had mentioned who my dad was (Adrien Girouard) and that my grandmother Marie-Anne (Chartier) Girouard was Leo's Aunt. She then knew which family I was from. She had even mentioned that she went to school with my cousine Elsie Faucher in St. Norbert. So once again, mes sympathies a la famille. - Posted by: Richard Girouard - Montreal, Quebec (First cousin 1x removed on the Chartier/Girouard side of the family. ) on: Jun 07, 2020

- Posted by: Dorothée Touzin (Cousine) on: Jun 06, 2020
