JOSE ANTUNES FERREIRA
José was born in Moitas Venda, Portugal on April 19, 1941 to Manuel and Julia Ferreira.
Left to mourn are his wife Adilia, daughter Dalila, son Celso (Barb), grandchildren, Allyssa, Ana, Tiago, Kami and Davin. He also leaves his sisters in Portugal, his beloved cousin Ercilia in Brazil, brother-in-law Joao, niece Susie (Vasco) and nephew Nilton in Winnipeg, as well as many friends in Winnipeg and Moitas Venda.
So much love and support has been shown by family and friends alike, and the family cannot express enough how grateful they are.
The family would like to extend deep gratitude to the everyone at Calvary Place Personal Care Home, especially the staff on 3S, who provided such excellent care for Dad.
As a result of the restriction on public gatherings due to Covid-19, a private service will be held for family. Burial will follow in Portugal.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity of your choice.

Adilia and family, my sincere condolences on the passing of your husband and father. I know how much you loved Jose, Adilia. Seeing you at Calvary Place everyday taking such great care of him, was inspiring.
