It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, unexpected passing of our precious daughter, sister, auntie, granddaughter and niece, Kayla Chantel, at St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, May 29, 2020.
Kayla was born October 8, 1988, and lived in St. Vital all her life.
Left to cherish her memory are Jim and Gloria (parents), Ashley (sister), Tyler (brother-in-law), Greyson (nephew), Margaret Sawatzky (Nana); aunties, Penny Kennedy (Stan, Robyn, Jay, Kole, Quinn), Gail Lemoine and family, Sharon Lafrance and family; and numerous cousins and friends, especially her best friend Karlo Ocampo. Kayla was predeceased by George Sawatzky (Grandpa), Agnes Duhame (Grandma Kitty), and Albert Duhame (Grandpa).
Kayla had the biggest heart, was so sweet and was a loyal and supportive friend to all. She loved her family so much. Kayla and Ashley had a bond like no other and Tyler was the brother she never had but always wanted, and Greyson was her pride and joy. We are going to miss her smile and hearing her laugh but she will be in our hearts forever, she knew how much we loved her and was loved in return. Kayla was working from home during this pandemic and missed all her friends/co-workers from IG Wealth Management.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Feral Friends Sanctuary or any animal charity of your choice.
Due to Covid19 a private family service will take place.

RIP precious Kayla ...
We know Heaven must be beautiful
right now... because it has you in it.
