MAXINE ISOBEL ARRISSA RILEY
November 28, 1996 - June 1, 2020
Maxine was born on November 28, 1996, in Winnipeg, MB.
She is survived by her daughter Aspen and the love of her life Braden Tkach; father and mother Michael Riley and Cindy Waters; sister Justine Riley (Klint Law); niece Kinnley; nephew Konnor; aunts, Cheryl Waters (Rick Hayden), Maureen Waters (Jeff Eisnor) and Janet Waters (Millie); grandmother Gertrude Waters, along with numerous cousins.
Maxine loved life. She attended Assiniboine College and graduated November 2019 with her HCA. She was recently hired with the IERHA and loved her job. Her beautiful personality and bubbliness made her a perfect fit and a joy to be around. She had so many friends, cousins and extended family that loved her. Maxine will be greatly missed and we are all left with numerous stories and pictures that reflected her.
Maxine was a bright light in the darkness. She will live on forever in our hearts.
Maxine wanted to give the gift of life so we have observed her wishes and she has now changed even more lives with her gift of her organ donation.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in her honour when able to accommodate everyone.
Our family would like to thank the EMS, RCMP, Fire Department, Dr. Soliman and the nursing staff of the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, Eriksdale, STARS, Health Sciences Centre, doctors and nursing staff of the SICU and the Manitoba Organ Donations Services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maxine's memory to the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital Guild - c/o Irene Sigurdson, Box 474, Eriksdale, MB R0C 0W0.

I vicariously followed Maxine's life on Facebook for years, watching as she grew up and experienced life, love and heartbreak. She loved her family and wanted to make them proud. I was sad beyond belief when my brother called to tell me the news. All my love to Mike, Cindy and Justine. - Posted by: Bill Boxall (Uncle) on: Jun 07, 2020

Max / Maxi. I will miss you and your light so much. You were responsible for some of my fondest memories growing up together. Every summer spent at camp causing havoc on the waterfront and being a friend to every person you came in contact with. Rest In Peace. Condolences to her beautiful daughter and family. - Posted by: Rae Vesa (Friend) on: Jun 06, 2020

Maxine has a free spirit. I remember when I was in my teen years going to live with auntie Cindy, uncle mike, Justine and Max. Max was always at my side. Even years later she always reminded me of the times we shared when we all were under one roof. When we all went to Cuba she remembered every detail of when I went to stay with all of them and always had a smile on her face as she chairs her those memories just as I do to this day. 2 summers ago when we all sat around the fire at the old Milton house, now auntie cheryls, we had the time of our lives, lost memories rekindled. We had so much fun raising down the old road with everyone trying to see who could get to the end the fastest, in our flip flops lol. She had a way about her, so vibrant. It was that trip where I got to meet aspen for the first time and her new niece Kinnley, and Ragnar lol sorry Braden, the look in her eyes when she looked at him was a sparkle that many could only wish for, he was her dream, only some of us are fortunate to find that special kind of love for one another. I never would have thought that that would be the last time I would see Maxine, I feel like life has been turned upside down for all of us. My heart feels heavy and achy thinking about her life she was so excited for and how much she is already missed by so many, I love you Max ❤️ Until we meet again, soar high and shine your light on all of us ❤️ - Posted by: Michelle Siddle (Cousin) on: Jun 06, 2020

It is with great sadness we, family and friends, say goodbye to our beautiful Max. Our memories of Max will forever echo in eternity, and her life is solidified in our hearts, and minds. It has been said many times that the purest of souls always leave this world first ; Her remarkable smile must be needed somewhere else, and although the ripple affect of her moving forward will be everlasting, we know her light will glimmer across the universe. We love you Max, and we will see you again. - Posted by: Kelly M Ryan (Cousin) on: Jun 06, 2020
