DENNIS FULTON OHRLING
November 26, 1950 - June 2, 2020

Dennis passed away peacefully on June 2, 2020, at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 69.
He was predeceased by his parents (1981), and his brother Ken (2011).
He is survived by his daughter Rose Johnston (Cody) and granddaughter Bryn Hailey, as well as brothers, Carl LaPratt, Daniel Philips, Brian Ohrling, Roy Ohrling, Robert Ohrling; sisters, Shelagh Ohrling and Ruth Ohrling, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis experienced many struggles throughout his life which impacted his health.
Dennis loved to read and his interests were varied. He was well informed on many topics and he always enjoyed discussing ideas he found interesting.
Dennis also enjoyed producing works of needlepoint at which he was quite skilled. These he would happily give away to others.
During the time Dennis lived in Calgary he became quite close to his brother Dan and the brothers often found time to have lunch or coffee together. These visits seemed to help Dennis as he moved along on his life journey.
Dennis is now at peace and all his pain has gone.
Dennis will be cremated and his ashes interred in Winnipeg.
