ANNETTE LOOMAN
(nee MEHYDEN)
Annette was born December 23, 1934, in Cowan, Manitoba, to the late William and Mary Mehyden. She spent her childhood in Ethelbert, Manitoba. She was the third child of four children and was predeceased by her three siblings, Ollie, Cathy and Mitch.
As a young adult, Annette moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba and spent time in Ontario, ultimately residing the remainder of her life in Winnipeg. Annette was an active member in her church - St. Alphonsus Parish. During her lifetime Annette worked for various retail corporations such as Zellers, Silverman Jewellers and the North West Company. Annette enjoyed cats, nature and time spent outdoors. In particular, she valued her moments spent in Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba where she had a small trailer which she tended to carefully and lovingly for many years. She also spent time at her brother's cottage gardening and delighting with family and friends.
Annette enjoyed her family, laughing and always wore a smile. She had the best disposition - full of joy and happiness. She was a loving and caring person. Annette was a daughter, sister, wife, godmother, aunt and treasured friend. Most importantly, Annette was a child of God. Annette now resides in God's Kingdom, as we miss her here on earth.
Annette leaves to cherish her loving memory her sister-in-law Donna Mehyden, nephews, Gerry Kerr, Jamey Mehyden, Brent Mehyden, and nieces, Evelyn Deming and Lori St. James, as well as many great-nephews and great-nieces, other family members and dear friends.
She will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I believe this is the Annette I new. We were both single then and enjoyed a few social outings. I would love to hear more about her life. I only worked for a short while at Moore Business Forms and then moved on to Imperial Oil. My home town is Gimli, MB although I live in Mississauga, ON now. I usually read the Winnipeg Free Press and go into the passages to see listings of people I once knew. My condolences - she was a lovely young lady when I knew Annette. - Posted by: Angela Johnson (nee Pistawka) (Worked with Annette in 1955 -6 at Moore Business Forms, Winnipeg.) on: Jun 15, 2020
