FRED A. RITCHOT

In June, 2000, 20 years ago, at the age of 66, Fred Ritchot of Winnipeg, MB, suddenly passed away leaving to mourn his beloved family. His remaining loved ones still mourn and will always think of the kind, wonderful man that Fred was. Loving thoughts remain: sister-in-law Carole Ritchot and family, sister Emily Paddison and family; children: Fred Ritchot Jr., Sharon Vegh and John Vegh (Barrie, ON), Bill Ritchot (Montreal, PQ) and Jerry Halas, Michelle Ritchot and Stefphany Cholakis, Wayne Taillieu; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fred was predeceased by his father Bill Ritchot (Clandeboye, MB) and his wife Edith (Pat) Ritchot. Since his passing, Fred's family has lost his mother Edith; his brothers, Honey and Ed; his daughter Lynda Taillieu; his daughter-in-law Joyce Ritchot; and his great-granddaughter Destiny Taillieu. Papa Fred touched the lives of so many. He also leaves fond memories with hundreds of friends and thousands of people.

To Those I Love And Those Who Loved Me
When I am gone, release me, let me go...
I have so many things to see and do,
You must not tie yourself
to me with your tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave to you my love, you can only guess,
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I travel on alone.
So grieve a while for me if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a while that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on,
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see me or
touch me, I'll be near,
And if you listen with all
your heart, you'll hear,
All of my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must
come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and
say, "welcome home".
