I was the drummer in the VIP'S along with Wayne & Peggy. We had great times together. - Posted by: Barry Newcombe (Fellow band member... V I P's) on: Feb 04, 2022

Wayne and I had a small band called The Radians back around 1964 before he went on to join Peggy Shane and the Belaires, later the Vips. I know he went on to join the Deverons after Burton Cummings left and I was quite proud to know him. We lost touch for many years and had just re-established a connection a few years ago. We had fun sharing some of the new music together via Youtube and realized that music wasn't quite dead yet! I meant to get back to Winnipeg to see him, but unfortunately left it too late. My thoughts are with him and his nieces and nephews. - Posted by: Adrian Charman (School friend at Daniel MacIntyre Collegiate) on: Jul 06, 2020
